Renaissance News
In light of a new year, it is often worthwhile to reflect on the successes of the previous year and remember the good times. In December, we recognized our Silver, Gold and Platinum Academic Stars. We recognized over 200 students and would like to extend our congratulations to these students.

Welcome Back to the New Year! What a joyous occasion to welcome back our students after the Christmas break. How lovely to see huge smiles as students and staff greet one another with excitement and enthusiasm sharing stories of events that took place over the past two weeks. We have quickly settled back into the pre-break routine. Students are practicing their instruments, working on collaborative projects, reviewing work for upcoming assessments and the like. I would like to ask parents to remind their children about getting adequate sleep now that the holidays are over. Also, I noticed several students outside in shirt sleeves, so I ask that you remind your child to bring and wear appropriate outside clothing. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to email or call your childs teachers or our administrative team. All emails are firstname.lastname@wrsd.ca Have a very Happy New Year! The approximate cost of obtaining a birth certificate in Canada is $35.75. The parent/ guardian requesting the birth certificate must have one piece of identification (their own birth certificate, drivers license or passport). Once ordered, it will take approximately two weeks to arrive.
