Large crowds are expected at Melbourne & Olympic Parks on event day with Moomba Festival
taking place nearby.

Over 100,000 people are expected to be in the precinct, so its essential to plan your trip in
advance and work out how youre going to get to and from the event.

PARKING
Onsite public car parking is extremely limited.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

TRAMS STOPPING AT OR NEAR MARGARET COURT ARENA


Tram 70 (Wattle Park) - Tram services from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations stop at
Rod Laver Arena (Stop 7B), Hisense Arena (Stop 7C) and AAMI Park (Stop 7D).
Tram 48 (North Balwyn) and Tram 75 (Vermont South) - Stops adjacent to MCG on
Wellington Parade.
TRAIN STATIONS NEAR MARGARET COURT ARENA
FLINDERS STREET STATION - LOCATED A 10 MINUTE WALK TO MCA
RICHMOND STATION LOCATED A 16 MINUTE WALK FROM HISENSE ARENA.

BUS STOPS NEAR MARGARET COURT ARENA


Bus 605 (City - Gardenvale) - Travels down Exhibition Street, Batman Avenue and Olympic
Boulevard (previously known as Swan Street)
Bus 246 (Latrobe Uni - Elsternwick Station) - Travels down Punt Road, stops at the corner
of Olympic Blvd. From here patrons can walk approximately 500 metres to Hisense Arena
and AAMI Park, and less than a kilometre to Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena.

TAXI
A dedicated taxi rank operates for all events across the bridge at Flinders St station or next to the
Oval on Olympic Blvd.

TICKET TYPES

There is only one ticket type for this event. All tickets are General Admission.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

All patrons entering the venue must be over the age of 18, entry to the event is at own risk.

All patrons entering the event must have a valid photo ID and ticket.

Valid Photo ID is required for entry (VALID Passport, VALID Australian Drivers License or State
specific proof of age card).

Attendees from overseas must bring their valid passport to gain entry. Overseas Drivers License,
Student University and/or Public Transport cards will not be accepted.

On request security have the right to ask you to legitimise yourself with further ID requests

ID checks followed by bag searches will be conducted upon entry.

There are STRICTLY NO PASS OUTS permitted at the event.

REJECTION OF ENTRY OR EJECTION FROM EVENT

Security staff are entitled to search; pat down or metal detect any patron upon entry. Any person
not compliant or found with prohibited items will be refused entry or removed from the
event without refund or access back in.

Access to the event is prohibited or refused to people who:

Are clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other stimulant.
Have been banned from events before, imposed by either Symbiotic or the administrative,
legal or police governing bodies.
Illustrate behaviour that intends to disturb public peace or to provoke assault.
Intentionally attempt to conceal prohibited items with the intent to bypass security
screening.
Are wearing gang related colours, Hi-vis clothing, or attempting to resemble any staff
member; including unauthorized media vests, or uniforms that impersonate emergency
service personnel.
Are from unauthorized media outlets.

Only authorised and fully accredited media approved by the Marketing and Publicity departments
are permitted at Symbiotic events.

Any media or persons found to be carrying media equipment (microphones, recording devices,
camera etc) or deliberately deceiving staff will be removed and banned from Symbiotic events for
an indefinite period.

If you are evicted from the event, you will not be allowed re-entry.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items are not permitted inside the venue:

Items prohibited by law:

Illegal substances including controlled, dangerous or illicit drugs.


Incendiary devices (flares, fireworks and smoke bombs)
Firearms and explosives
Chemical radioactive or biological substances.

Patrons found with illicit drugs or items listed above that are prohibited by law will be refused
entry, have tickets cancelled and referred to Police.

Items deemed by the Venue to be a security or safety risk or a threat to the commercial interests
of the Arena and the Promoter

Alcohol
Bicycles
Laser lights or pointers
Audio /Visual Recording Devices including Go Pros and professional cameras (not
including mobile phones)
No glass (including bottles) or cans, drink containers or plastic bottles
Promotional materials- stickers & flyers
Metal objects
Weapons or dangerous items including selfie sticks
Umbrellas
Sporting equipment
Vapour E-cigarettes

No liquids (including creams, gels, spray of any kind in bottles or containers) are permitted on site
for security reasons; there is free water available at all bars within the venue.

No animals are permitted on site excluding authorised guide companion dogs

CLOAKING SERVICES

There are free cloaking services available internally and externally at the event.

Cloaking for Prohibited Items excluding illegal substances can be cloaked externally at the
cloakroom located alongside the entry.

Symbiotic will not take responsibility for cloaked items.

Please ensure you keep your ID on you for bar service.

MERCHANDISE

Merchandise will be available at the event.

POLICE

Police have the right to attend Symbiotic events and have the right to question and eject patrons
from the event, if a patron is suspected of possessing illicit substances, weapons or contraband.

Patrons should respect police and be compliant with their requests, but should also be aware of
their rights.

There will be a PAD dog operation at this event.

FIRST AID

First Aid will be available at the event.

By entering the event and using the Venue and St Johns medical facilities, a patron consents to
providing access to their medical information.

LIABILITY

Symbiotic and the Venue shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering
or within the premises.

Symbiotic will not be held liable for any hearing damage or loss. Use earplugs if necessary.

Symbiotic accepts no responsibility for patrons actions.


ACCESSIBILITY & MOBILITY IMPAIRED POLICY

A dedicated entry lane will be available to those in possession of a Companion Card.

Dedicated toilets will also be available at the event.
