Visitor Workplace Induction

All persons visiting an Martin & East worksite must complete a Visitor
Workplace Induction prior to visiting a live worksite. Visitors to site must sign
into the site as per company procedures and obey the instructions of M&E
Site Supervisors and Employees at all times.

1. report to the site office before entering or leaving the site.

2. Wear and use the correct PPE at all times.
3. Wear steel capped safety footwear at all times.
4. Comply with all safety notices and warning signs.
5. Do not enter taped off / restricted areas without prior permission.
6. Treat all cables and wires as live until determined otherwise.
7. Tidy up your area and keep surroundings tidy at all times.
8. Dispose of waste in bins provided.
9. Wear seat belts always when driving on our vehicles.
11. Observe proper hygiene practices.
12. No smoking or vaping outside of designated areas.
13. Look after yourself and others to ensure everyone's safety.
14. Do not approach any machinery, plant, or crane unless the driver expressly indicates to you
that he has seen you and it is safe to do so.
15. Alcohol or other drug use is not permitted on any of Martin & East sites in line with the
company's obligations under the OHS Act.
16. Do not bring firearms or any other weapons (knives, gun etc) onto this site.
17. Do not walk away from an unsafe condition without informing the site supervisor/safety
officer. (i.e. where an area is unsafe)

23. Cultural, historical, and prehistorical objects – if you stumble on any cultural or prehistorical
objects onsite you must immediately notify the site supervisor (body-supervisor and gold-H&S).
