Azerbaijani Culture and Language


Students will inquire into the living things in Azerbaijan (plants and animals). They will learn to recognise and name the plants and
animals. They will also learn to describe their favourite animal, communicating information about where the animal lives, how it
looks and what it eats.

Physical Education
During the Track and Field unit of inquiry the P3 students will be introduced to various techniques in long jump, high jump, ball
throw, foam javelin throw, mini hurdles and relays. The students will learn how to take turns during the activities and the
importance of safety in performing different events. They will also practice different Sports Day activities such as Obstacle Course,
Trampoline Ball, Basketball Shootout, Football Shootout etc.

Visual Arts
We will explore the four elements in Azerbaijani culture: air, soil, water and fire as inspirations for creating art.

Performing Arts
We are looking forward to next term because we will be playing lots of different percussion instruments, including the xylophones, as
well as performing some stories. 2
