DEVELOPMENTS (METHODOLOGY)

Development: The purpose of this activity is to group all the

Animal-Classificatio
n-Cards.pdf knowledges about vertebrates that the students have received, we
will provide them with a copy in which the features of the vertebrates
- Group work activity
and the classification of the five different groups (mammals, reptiles,
birds, amphibians and fish) appear. The students will have to
complete, colour and cut out all the parts and then stick them on the
lapbook that will serve them to consolidate their knowledge and to
study, while for the teacher it is also an evaluation tool. While they
are working, we will go to the tables asking questions (related to the
topic) one by one to know if they have learned what we had set out
- Posters
to teach and see if we need to reinforce anything.

Extra resource: if we have some students who need educational

Development: 1st.- We will make a KW chart on the board to find
reinforcement, we can use this game to classify through images, it
out what students Know and what they Want to know about this
is very visual and can be of great help for children who find harder
topic. 2n.- With the help of a video we will present the topic then
to reach the objectives, it is also useful to make mind maps.
we will use flashcards to reinforce vocabulary and language
structures. 3rd.- Group work: Students in groups will make a mural
classifying vertebrate animal by their characteristics.
