Observations/ Account Reflections & Critical Response

 Every Wednesday class dismiss at 1:20
pm.
At 7:15am, we had devotion led by
Substitute teacher Ibu who teach science
in this class.
After devotion, Ibu continued science
class. In science class, they were doing
experiment so the class was kind of
chaos.
Then they had snake break after snake
break my cooperating teacher led English
class.
She led reading section, and all the
students participated in the reading
section.
After reading section, they did
vocabulary worksheet.
Next, we had Wednesday chapel, the
chapel led by all the Grade 3 students.
My students did a great job in the chapel.
I met some of the parents who came to
our chapel.
After chapel, I taught mathematics and
then we had lunch break.
After lunch break, my cooperating
teacher led the class again. She did
reading on Wonder book. This time
students were just listening to her. And
she came up with really interesting
activity which is Instagram post. Teacher
gave them a paper with Instagram post
frame, and students filled it up with
drawings and stick it on the wall.
Today is awesome day. It was short school
day but I learned a lot of thing.
First of all, Im sure that science teacher
Ibu is kind and good at teaching but I
dont like the way she managed the
class. If I was facing that kind of
situation, I would rather go first to
discipline the class. Then I will continue
my teaching.
Seeing my students are leading the
chapel was awesome. I can see their
talents and the results of hard working.
And I also had a chance to meet with
their parents.
Next, I really like the idea that my
cooperating teacher came up with for
her reading section. I was wondering why
students love her so much like their mom
and they really respect her. But now I
know because she is awesome teacher.
This activity attracts students to pay
more attention while the teacher is
reading. This is because if they dont
know the story, they would not able to
do Instagram post.
