Executive summary
The title of my project is A Comprehensive study on Training and Development at Cadbury
The summer training at Cadbury New Delhi gave an opportunity to orient oneself in the HR
department and to relate the theories to actual practical work culture. The objective of the study
is to analyses the attitude of employee towards training. It is to study the employee
understanding of employee involvement in various goal oriented activities and provide
recommendation to increase its effectiveness precisely. The objective also includes to study the
HR functions and to improve the same accordingly.

To achieve these objectives, the in-depth study of the employee attitude towards training and
development in Cadbury is done. Questionnaire method is used for collecting data. With the help
of his method data is collected from employees. One of the major limitations of the project was
that it was very difficult to get questionnaire filled from employees and interview them due to
problems of communication. In most of the cases, employees refuse to fill up the questionnaire
saying that they are bound by confidential clause of organization

On the basis of the observations & findings the recommendations were given. There should be an
effective two-way flow of communication in the industry. Attitude of employees in training and
development programmer is good and it helps in increasing knowledge of employees and also
helps in increasing strengths and in overcome weakness .The conclusion states that Maximum
respondents are uncertain about periodical evaluation and improvement of Induction training
program. They are agreeing with participation of employees in determining the training program
and it is also helping to the individual to diagnosing & analyzing the problems at individual
level.
