What Is Temperature Mapping?: A1.1 Test Data Sheet: Temperature Data Logger Locations
Demonstrate the air temperature profile of the storing area when empty and
in a normal loaded condition.
Define the zones which should not be used for storage like close proximity to
cooling coils, cold air streams, and heat sources.
Demonstrate the time taken for temperatures to exceed designated limits in
the event of power failure.
Subsequent mapping exercises has to be carried out on a periodic basis (for every
three years) in order to maintain compliance.
How the protocols are documented ?
Data loggers are used to record the temperature in the storage areas and then you
calculate the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in each of the data
loggers used and then after calculating the mean temperature, we compare the
result with the specified temperature limit. We document the result (Pass/Fail) and if
there is any deviation, we report that particular deviation in deviation reports.
