Chapter I
THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
Pollution is what sometimes hears whenever we are outside, in school or

even in newspaper but what pollution means, Pollution occurs when pollutants

contaminate the natural surroundings. Pollution occurs in different forms- air,

water, soil, radioactive, noise, heat-thermal and light. The burning of fossils

fuels to power industries and vehicles is one of the major causes of pollution

and through the use of toxic chemicals that are then discharged into water

sources such as lakes, rivers and streams is also polluted due to such toxic

chemicals.

Cleanliness is a key to have a safe and a healthy living for every

individual. And it is the key also to enjoy everybodyd lives outside their property

so that we can enjoy our lives happily and easily. But theres a problem if there

is the word cleans always remembers that likewise theres the word dirt. And

then the pollution came when it was getting large. By the way, Pollution is the

action or the process of making land, water, air, etc. dirty and not safe. It was

getting worst every year passed by. As you can see, some places here in SJDM

Bulacan were totally polluted in land and water especially in air. Like ni Bagong

silang (bridge,tulay) the river there has an awful and disgusing image. Pollution

of the environment is causing great damage to ecosystem that depends upon

the health of this environment. So we chose this topic to decrease the amount

of area that is polluted.

Background of the Study

We must know what is the importance to be informed about the pollution is

and how it can affect us in such ways. Pollution can affect us especially in our

health. The people that are most in danger are the children because they have

low metabolism and easily get sick same with people that is too old. We will be

doing this research in Muzon Pabahay 2000 so we can help them to ease the

inflating of pollution in their place.

First is to help them to stop pollution in getting worse, second is to clear the

pollution that is already there.

Metro Manila is one of the most polluted metropolitan cities in the whole

world. We may learn some measyres that we can undertake from the more

advanced countries as to just how to remove the pollution that is already

there.The answer to the whole problem is to prevent the pollution from getting

worse this may take time but we can start it now.

Physically, pollution occurs because it is virtually impossible to have a

productive process that involves to waste; economically, pollution occurs

because polluting is less expensive that operating cleanly. This chapter

explores the sources and consequences of and remedies for pollution and

associated environmental damages. Is all goods have well-defined property

rights and could be traded in markets, environmental googds would be no

different than the other goods; however,markets fail for these goods because

property rights cannot or do not exist and because of nonexclusive nature of

these goods. Thus environmental goods provide the classic case when

government intervention can increase efficiency. Achieving efficient levels of

pollution involves charging per unit of pollution based on damages cause by

unit.

The general problem of the study is to determine if the pollution is getting

word in the people who live in Muzon Pabahay 2000. We are students of

Bulacan College of Commerce and Trade.We have come to realise that the

pollution in Pabahay is increasing and we will educate the public about how

they can reduce some of the problems caused by the pollution.

1. What is the profile of those who lives in Muzon Pabahay 2000?

1.3.2 in the road.

2. What are factors or causes of pollution?

Significance of the Study

This study helps first the society where we belonged. We want to decrease

the garbage on the polluted area in Muzon pabahay 2000 and then the health of

those people who live in Muzon Pabahay. Then their character we want them to

be a discipline, useful in the society etc. And we want to encourage those

places that are experiencing this kind of problem. This movement is hard to

control. But when it has unity all problem is easy.

People - they were encouraged cleaning their own area and they should be a

disciplined people.

Student - it is nice to see that the young students do their roles by being a

cleaned people/followed the study that we chose.

Future Researchers The finding of this study will serve as a good source of

accurate and useful information.

Scope and Delimitation of the study

This study is limited to the School of Bulacan College of Commerce and

Trade Academic Year 2016-2017. Discussions were delimited to the people who

love Muzon Pabahay, to ask that solution to solve the pollution in their area.

We will be having an interview conducted by the researchers to answer the

questions. The interviewee will be chosen randomly.

The main purpose of this study is to find ways on how to clean the polluted

area in Muzon Pabahay 2000. We want to discipline the people who live in

pabahay to clean their own area.

Contaminant a polluting poisonous substance that makes something impure.
