d Explore the culture of Southeast Asia

b Motivation
The teacher will introduce the lesson through
word game.
The students will find the words on the charts
and encircle it.
The words that they would have to find are the
countries of Southeast Asia.

c Lesson Proper
The teacher will discuss a brief background of
Southeast Asia.
The teacher will discuss the economy,
boundaries, climate, environment and culture.

d Evaluation
The teacher will give a quiz.
The student will answer it.

e Generalization
Southeast Asia or South eastern Asia is a sub-region
of Asia, consisting of the countries that are
geographically south of China, east of India, west of
New Guinea and north of Australia. Southeast Asia
consist of two geographic region; 1. Mainland
Southeast Asia, composing Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia,
Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), and west Malaysia. 2.
Maritime Southeast Asia, composing Indonesia, East
Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, East Timor, Brunei,
Coces Island, and Christmas Island.

IV ASSIGNMENT
Read page 305 then answer Exercise 2 on page 310.
