I am applying for the Registered Nurses position on the Medical Surgical floor. After graduating
from West Shore Community College with my Licensed Practical Nurses certificate in 2014, I
began working within the Trinity network and refined my skills on multiple shifts. During first
shift I enhanced my managerial skills; second shift was focused primarily on post
surgical/orthopedic cases and family dynamics, and third shift to finalize doctors orders and
making assignments for following shifts.

I then returned to my alma mater to gain another degree, and I graduated with my Associate
Science in Nursing in May 2017. Enclosed you will find my resume that I hope you will give
careful consideration to as I would be honored to become part of the Spectrum Health family.

While working in the Trinity network as an LPN, I was able to fine tune my skills in nurse
management and direct patient care with rehabilitation for post surgical patients. I worked
closely with the Interdisciplinary Team including Medical Doctors, Physical Therapists',
Occupational Therapists', Speech Language Pathologists', and Social workers to coordinate our
patients rehabilitative plan of care.
