servingprimeministerinhistory.

Theemperoristheheadofthecountryandstate.Hepresidesoverhiscabinet,thatconsistsof
thePrimeminister(AbeShinzo)andwhoevertheprimeministerappointstobeinhiscabinet.
Thepeoplewhoareintheprimeministerscabinetmustbemembersofthelegislature.

LegislativeBranch
TheDietorParliamenthascontroloverthelegislativebranch.TheyalsopresideovertheHouse
ofRepresentatives,whichisconsistedof300singleseatrepresentativesand200seatsthat
dependontheratiointhehouse.Thishousesmembersareelecteddirectlybythepeople.
Thereisalsoa50seatHouseofChancellors,whichisalsoelectedbythepeople.TheHouseof
Representativesisthedominanthouse,enactinglaws,passingtreaties,etc.

JudicialBranch
Thesupremecourtisthehighestcourtintheland.Itconsistsofonechiefand14justices.The
chiefisselectedbytheEmperor,asappointedbythecabinet.Thesamegoesfortheother
justices.Thiscourtdealswiththeconstitutionalityoflawsandproceedings.
