Identify long- and short-term academic, career and social/emotional goals Materials: career assessments, pencils, poster boards, markers, my first resume worksheets Procedure: review expectations (be respectful, raise your hand, and use kind words even when you disagree with others). Introduce the word career. Ask students about the word and other similar words that has the same meaning. Ask students if they have a job right now. Gather responses. Tell students that they will have a guide who will help us to find more about careers. Access Paws in Jobland using projector and smartboard. Explore two jobs in each section.
