Assalamualaikum and a

very good evening to

madam norashikin and
fellow friends. Today we
are going to present
about verbal and non
verbal communication
for public transport.
Without wasting our
time, I would like to
explain about verbal
communication.
VERBAL
COMMUNICATIO
N
Verbal communication
refers to the use of
sounds and language to
relay a message.

It serves as a vehicle for

expressing desires, ideas
and concepts and is
important to the
processes of learning and
teaching.
Verbal or oral
communication uses
spoken words to
communicate a message.

When most people think

of verbal communication,
they think of speaking,
but listening is an equally
important skill for this
type of communication to
be successful.
If you dont have a
listener, its not
interpersonal
communication but its
more to intrapersonal
communication.

IMPORTANCE
Verbal communication
has many purposes, but
its main function is
relaying a message to
one or more recipients.
Verbal communication
can be used to inform,
inquire, argue and
discuss topics of all kinds.

It is vital to teaching and

learning, as well as
forming bonds and
building relationships with
other people.

We use verbal
communication to inform,
whether it is to inform
others of our needs or to
impart knowledge.

Clarification is a key
component of verbal
communication.

Verbal communication
helps to clarify
misunderstandings and
provides missing
information.

We can use verbal

communication to correct
a wrong. The power of
the words, Im sorry, is
often more effective than
an action.

Verbal communication
can also be used as a
tool of persuasion. It
creates an opportunity for
debate, stimulates
thought and creativity,
and deepens and creates
new relationships.
