Dear Parents and Student Athlete,

My name is Bruce Marchand Jr., I am the Head Baseball Coach at Southbridge Middle
School for the 2017 season... The phrase Student-Athlete is important to me because children
are STUDENTS first and athletes second, which leads me to require a few expectations from
your son:

Respect all players, coaches, teachers, and parents

Always have a positive attitude even when on the bench
Never argue with an umpire for any reason!
Treat all players/teammates as equals
Treat this team as a family
Work as hard as you can for 100% of the time
Be willing to learn from coaches and other players
Strive to be the best sportsmanship team in the state!
