BFSL System Features

Core platform
The core platform is a Customizable Enterprise Resource Planning System. This comes with
various configurable features which include the following:
User management
Web based interface
Supplier management (Landlords are suppliers)
Customer management (Tenants are customers)
Sales management (Selling rent to tenants)
Accounting and Finance (including taxation)
Customer relationship management (Tenant and Landlord management)
And many others.

Customizations
Provide features to manage information on landlords, tenants, properties and the pertinent
contracts.
1. Landlords
a. Registration (Mobile phone and ID number mandatory)
b. Landlord profile (address, photo, next of kin, bank details, etc)
c. List of properties under contract with landlord
2. Properties
a. Landlords registers properties under contract in their profile
b. Property profile (name, location, geolocation, plot number,
property number, etc)
c. Landlords registers loans linked to property
d. Property is linked to contract with landlord
e. Register units in this property and they will be automatically
assigned ID numbers
3. Units
a. Register unit
b. Each unit has an account for tracking payments
4. Tenants
a. Registration (Mobile phone and ID number mandatory)
b. Profile
c. One or more Contracts, each contract linked to a unit
5. Integrations
a. Mobile money payments
b. Bank reconciliation
c. Cash payments reconciliation
6. Security
a. Restrict access by location (e.g. based on IP or some other
criteria)
b. There will be two environments, namely, sandbox and
production. Sandbox will be hosted in BFSLs AWS account and it will be
accessible to both developers and the client. Production will be hosted and
 managed in the clients AWS account under the guidance of BFSL. BFSL shall
only gets access to servers in clients AWS at the clients initiative.
