This project was completed on January 26th, 2017.

Project Overview
For this project I was asked to recreate a concert flier. I choose
the fonts based on the picture. I think it went well and they
complemented each other. The most important parts are in italics.

Things I Learned
One thing I learned was the importance of alignment. Just from

changing it to align with the picture, it made the final product
looked that much better. Also, I learned to highlight important text
by using italics. The third thing I learned is that font choices can
make or break what you are trying to do and the message you are
trying to get across.

This project was completed on February 1st, 2017.

Project Overview
For this project, I was tasked to create a flier for a charity event.
There were no computers with Adobe products so I could only
use Microsoft Word. Also, it had to be reusable for the events in
the following years and be able to be re-edited.

Things I Learned
A few things I learned was how to use Microsoft Word to create
fliers. I never knew that you could or that the publishing mode
was even available. I also learned to pick a color scheme that is
related to the content, which is the school colors. Also, I learned

Project Overview
For this project, I had to recreate a flier for the National Park
Service. I choose Niagara Falls because I am interested in the park
and I always thought it was an interesting place. Not only did I
have to create a flier, but also a post card to go with it.

Things I Learned

A few things I learned while doing this project was picking a good
Niagara Falls, NY, 14303 color scheme. It took me a while to pick one that went well with
the colors on each picture I wanted to use. Also, trying to make
text visible over each image was a bit challenging.

About
My name is Joyrenzia Cheatham. I am 20 years old from Richmond,
Virginia. I am a Multimedia Communications Major at Wesley College.
I started designing in January of 2017 in a digital layout and design
class. It was difficult for me at first, just trying to find my style but as you can
see, Ive gotten better at it.
But, my first love is photography. I first picked up a camera in June
of 2015 and have been taking pictures ever since. I was asked to take
pictures at a Wesley College football game and that is where I sound a
passion for sports photography.
In the future, I hope to continue to design and photography. My
goal is to become a sports photographer for a professional team or sports
network such as ESPN. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to
