FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Railroad Museum Set to Host Beer Fundraising Event

Strasburg, PA (April 1, 2017) The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania hosts its second annual
Rails & Ales event Saturday, April 8th. Over twenty local and regional breweries are scheduled to
offer their beers to patrons, who can enjoy their beverages surrounded by historical trains and
railroad equipment. Mad Chef Brewing Company developed a beer specially for event; it will be
debuted at Rails & Ales. Food trucks will also be in attendance, with choices including ice
cream, pizza, coffee, and BBQ.

The evening event occurs from 7:30-10:30, with a special VIP hour from 6:30-7:30. Tickets cost
$40 for general admission, $15 for designated drivers, and $50 for VIPs. In addition to an extra
hour of drinking time, VIP ticketholders can pair beers with food served by local Isaacs
franchises. Designated drivers receive unlimited Reading Draft soda and cookies. This event
serves as a major fundraiser to support the non-profit Friends of the Railroad Museum.

Were pleased to host this event for a second time, with more breweries and food offerings than
last year, said Patrick Morrison, interim director. Rails & Ales has a dual purpose for us to
bring in a unique audience to the museum, and to help support the Friends of the Railroad
Museum. Last year was an unrivaled success, and we hope to exceed that this year.

Tickets can be purchased online at railsandales.org. Additional information, including a list of

brewers, food trucks and sponsors, may be found on the website.
