This document provides instructions for importing content from Canvas Commons into a course. It is a 5 step process that involves accessing the settings tab, clicking import from commons, selecting "Copy Canvas course" as the content type, typing the name of the course with the content to import, and clicking import to add the selected content directly into the current course.
Once your module has been created and you have added content into your modules, you can now import content into your course from other courses in Canvas Commons. In order for someone to access your module, they would import your course and select specific content (module you created) to import into their course. Step 1: Go back to the Home screen and click on the settings tab (located at the bottom of the screen on the left) Step #2: One you accessed settings, you will now click the import from commons tab.
Step #3: Under Content Type select Copy
Canvas course.
Step #4: Click on the box titled specific
content from course and type in the name of the course that you wish to import content from.
Step #5: Once you click Import, the content
will be imported directly into your Canvas course.
