Introduction
Yepme.com, was launched in April 2011 by three alumni of Indian Institutes of
Technology and Indian Institutes of Management: Vivek Gaur, Sandeep Sharma and Anand
Jadhav. Gaur (CEO) has experience building successful online companies like
Bagittoday.com and has also held senior positions in marketing and sales with HT Media
Ltd, Living Media and Hindustan Unilever Ltd. Sharma, the founder/COO and CTO, is an e-
commerce, technology and operations specialist having held senior positions
with Accenture, Sapient, SBI Capital Markets and HCL Technologies. Jadhav (president) is a
merchandising and supply chain expert and has worked with leading apparel retailers
including Shoppers Stop, Globus, Pantaloon and Reliance Trends.

Yepme Website following B2C business model sells its product directly to a customer. A
customer can view products shown on the website of business organization. The customer
can choose a product and order the same. Website will send a notification to the business
organization via email and organization will dispatch the product/goods to the customer.

Revenue Model
Inventory model where, It is a mathematical model that helps business in determining the
optimum level of inventories that should be maintained in a production process, managing
frequency of ordering, deciding on quantity of goods or raw materials to be stored, tracking
flow of supply of raw materials and goods to provide uninterrupted service to customers
without any delay in delivery.

Payment system
The payment can only be done through debit cards/ credit cards. The company
has tie up with the banks. Hence all the payments done with either debit card or credit card
must go through the banks payment gateway.
They dont have online banking payment facility or any e-wallets so that
the shoppers can checkout and pay through online banking or through e-wallets. They are
partners with some of the payment solution like Mastercard, Visa, American Express and
Discover network.

User Friendliness Of The Website
The website and the whole system of yepmeonline is very user friendly. Starting from
the browsing of pet products until the checkout the whole process is smooth and easy at the
same time. The website is designed very well even an amateur browser can easily browse the
pet products and checkout easily.
Starting from browsing the pet products in the website until the payment process all the
details are clearly mentioned so that no where the shoppers face the problem.

In the privacy policy column, all the policies of the company are clearly mentioned in the
website. They want the shoppers to be or (this can be said as one of the mission or motto of
the company)

those fields mentioned above. The only drawback of the website is that shoppers cannot know
the history of the company there is some technical issue which they havent updated in the

Suggestions to Improve the Website

Use eye catchy photos


Make sure that the photos put on website is eye catching the shoppers, so that this creates an
interest among the shoppers to know about the products or the website while surfing.

Customer reviews
In the Jabongonline the reviews are available below the products but shoppers must click on
the reviews column and there are only ratings visible to the customer there are no reviews
which describes the review of the product by customer. So, make sure that the reviews are
made available below with the products with the descripton given by the customers.

Colorful Website
While designing the website make sure of you using colour psychology this will leave a
positive opinion in the customers mind. For e.g. while adding the products to wish list make
sure that next to the word wish list you have an heart and if the customers choose to move
the product to wish list then make sure while clicking on it the heart turns into red colour

Notifications
If the product is out of stock and its displayed on the website make sure that you have a
notification column stating that e-mail id___________ if the product is available the
customers should be notified through mail.

Free shipping
To sustain in the market, make sure you ship the products at free of cost across India if you
are absorbing the cost. Now a day all online e-tailers provide free shipping to attract
customers.
