Statement of Interest

I choose to do the group work with my friend and we decide to mash up the
song for the final project of music class. That is because I m interesting in the
program and how many songs can combine in to one piece. For the inspiration I have
seen the singer medley the song on the YouTube, so I have an idea to try mash up the
song by myself. Another point is I think it challenge because I did not know how to
mash up the song and make it sound smooth and go along together.

Self-Assessment

I have done 10 sound project, that I record the sound in my daily life and used
them to make a song. So I got the skill from the program how to trimming, lowing the
volume , and how to make the echo sound. After that, I found that the project is very
fun and I really like to program. From my perspective, I think it will be good to
improve all of this skill. Moreover, in the future I believe that I will use this program
again. So I have plan on the final project that I will learn and study more about the
program. For the project I decide to do mashing song by using garage brand.

Meeting start talking about the final project and decide what to do
Me and Oil start meeting and planning what to do in final project. We start by
searching inspiration from internet. We listen many songs from YouTube and
Facebook music page. Then we decide to do a mash up music.

Research about how to mash up the song and divide work
We start to research about how to mash up the music both by searching on internet
and asking some friends who has experience in this path.

Listen to an example on the YouTube
Mostly of my friend told me that best way to do this project is listen form an example
mash up song form YouTube. Therefore, me and Oil listen to many mash up song
from YouTube to be references.

Choosing the song
In this day me and Oil helping each other choosing songs for mash up. We choose
fourteen songs to mash up.

Listen to the song and finding the useful part
We start to select a part of a song that can be mush up together. We join the each song
by using to similar word from lyric of the song. For example, we plan to join Hello
with Everything has change because in both song has a word Everything.

 - Learning how to use the program
We learning how to use the program. Even though, we already know some basic skills
but it not enough to do this project.
