 The past eight weeks of CS105 have been quite the learning experience. I knew a lot of

the basic ways to use Microsoft Office, have been using it to write papers since junior high

school. However, there are a lot of things that this class has taught me how to do that I previously

either did not know how to do or did not even know even existed. In particular, I liked the

macros section, gets rid of a lot of repetitive work! Learning how to use the timing settings in

PowerPoint has been another really great function to learn about.

The overall setup of our class assignments, forums, and study guides were all well done

too. Each topic section had the right amount of work per topic without being overwhelming yet

still being challenging. The forums all had interesting and thought provoking questions, and they

led to students looking at things in ways that we might not have otherwise. We were able to open

each others eyes and be like hey, I never thought about that but youre right.

Lastly, the teacher has been outstanding. Learning computer oriented programs

(especially online) can be challenging, but she made ita lot easier than trying to learn it solo. She

always responds to emails in a timely fashion, has flexible office hours, and even made time for

EXTRA class sessions when we felt we needed more of her attention. To top it off, she is not dull

but is very lively! Thank you, Ms. Williams!
