Changes Made and why we made them
Cardboard is used instead of plastic for easy assembly
The package is a rectangular prism instead of an inconvenient hanging
shape that barely stands
Sits on shelf instead of hanging from a hook, allowing the package to be
stacked and maximize space
Boxes are easier to ship
Boxes are more aesthetically pleasing
Cardboard is reusable but can be recycled if need be
Selling Points
More of the product can be in stores because it is smaller and takes up
less space
100% recyclable materials
A single cardboard piece, making it easier to manufacture
Much more visually appealing than the original packaging
The unused airspace is decreased, so the consumer feels that they get
more out of the product.
While the manufacturing process will need to change, it will be more
environmentally friendly and efficient than before.
