 INTRODUCTION
Growing numbers of people are becoming concerned about the
overuse of plastic bags and, in particular, the role that these bags
play in contributing to issues that affect marine life and the natural
environment. Knowing this common problem in our environment, we
have produced a Recycled Handbag using reusable materials as an
eco- friendly and cost-effective material and an alternative to things
that are terrible for our environment. Our goal was to create a
material that can be used as a replacement for harmful things to
our environment.
Recycled handbags, due to their naturally occurring and renewable
features, provide an appealing and practical option for shopping and
also fashion-style. We were confident in our belief that a general
decrease in superfluous material would be a valuable contribution to
a circular and less wasteful economy. In addition, for society to face
the problems posed by the global environment, there has to be a
significant reduction in total consumption, and the recycling of all
kinds of bags, regardless of their structure, should be aggressively
promoted.

STATEMENT OF
PURPOSE
Our product is a mini-purse/handbag
that can hold your stuff and is also
environmentally friendly because it is
made of recycled materials. It is also
simple to build, you can store a lot of
things inside it and carry it
everywhere, and it is also convenient
to wear.
To resourcefully manufacture a handbag with recycled
or unused materials such as an old belt and plastic
bottles.

OBJECTIVES
 METHODOLOGY
The procedures to be made to accomplish this project are:

1. To collect the needed materials such as 3 bottles, a pair of scissors, a cutter, 2 pieces of old cloth, a glue gun,
adhesive
tape, double-sided tape, cardboard, and a belt.

2. Start by cutting the neck of the bottle and cut a square off the side of only 2 bottles for the belt cord then cut
3 separate fabrics according to the size of the bottles’ sidewall.

3. Apply glue to attach each bottle's fabric to the cut, leaving excess material on top so it could bend into the bottle
thus gluing them.

4. Now glue the bottles together and surround the bottles with adhesive tape leaving the belt’s hole and make a
cardboard cutout of the bottles’ bottom for its foundation.

5. Cut a piece of fabric the same size as the foundation and paste it with glue as it serves as its design. Similarly for
the bottles’ front, cut a large piece of cloth and wrap it around the bottles.
6. Insert the belt cord then cut two pieces of fabric to act as pockets for the recycled bag and glue them.
