elements of mystery and intrigue that are typical conventions of the thriller genre. The name also reveals to the audience the type of film it is and what they can expect to see, it is obvious there is some sort of chase or hunt for something or someone for a price. This suggests to the audience that there is a sense of crime and betrayal in the film and therefore makes the audience want to find out what it is all about by viewing the film. The strapline is Time always catches up which links with the hunt aspect as it suggests the people involved are running away from time which the audience will see as interesting and hopefully seek to find out why.
I have chosen the font AR JULLIAN because it is clear to read in both a
large and small size and therefore audience will be able to read it on small posters as well as whatever screen they watch the film on. It adheres to thriller conventions as it is bold and intimidating which grips the audience with intrigue, more so than the other font styles people will likely see this font and automatically assume it has links to the thriller genre. I decided to avoid using the other fonts listed as they all seemed too straight and spaced out, which lessened the impact of the name and what it means. In addition, the second last font has more horror connotations that thriller and the first two among others resemble the fonts used in sci- fi films, thus making them unsuitable to use for my thriller film title.
