The table below shows the final evaluated tender evaluation criteria from 3 respectively groups by
designers from company Boost.
First of all, in the case of Crimson Enterprise, they suggested that the improvement can be
made is to lower down the cost, which a new material list is made with mostly recycled products as
materials. We accept this and think this is a good idea to improve our Design Package. Besides that,
lubricating oil is suggested to be applied on the pencil axle in order to make it move more smoothly,
and sponge to be put in the inner corner part of the base to absorb shock during impact. These are
all good ideas in way to improve our design. Therefore, company Boost accepts all of these
improvements and will try to make them happen in our design.
On the other hand, we have proposed improvements suggested by Phantom Enterprise. They
suggested to use hot glue gun to replace superglue/foam glue in the process of sticking the
polystyrene and the plywood. This idea will not be accepted as this is an inappropriate way,
because hot glue gun will melt down the polystyrene. Furthermore, replacement of the materials of
the wheels with hard materials. In my opinion, this improvement is unnecessary as our wheels have
the bottle cap as the rim which is hard enough to sustain during impact. The last suggestion is using
a velcro tape to prevent the bottle from falling out, and this idea is accepted and will be applied in
our design.
Last but not least, in the case of last group, A.W.D INC, they did not provide any of the
improvements and suggestions. Therefore, there is no reflection to be made against them.
Boost
3.1 Professionalism
Crimson Enterprise states that they are punctual to every meetings they have
in the past few weeks. If any of them could not make it, they will surely inform the
others within 12 hours. This can be seen and proven in the whatsapp conversation

Besides, Crimson Enterprise proves that they can control their emotion and
tends to cooperate with each other members when they have different opinions
and conflicts. This also can be shown and proven in Appendix A, in the whatsapp
conversation they had during the discussion about the time of meeting they were
going to have. Crimson Enterprise is awarded for 4/4 marks in this criteria.
Boost
Therefore, Crimson Enterprise is awarded for 2/4 marks in this criteria, as the
lack of evidence of working schedule and the finishing time of tasks given.
Boost
In this case, Crimson Enterprise shows their trust and respect to our
design and to Company Boost designers. They choose to follow us in every
aspects and to work together in this project efficiently. They have worked
out the minutes of meetings and follow up what should they do after every
meetings. This can be proven in Appendix D.
3.4 Initiative
Besides that, lubricating oil as suggested can be applied to the pencil axle
to lubricate it in order to move smoothly. Another suggestion is adding the
sponge in the inner corner part of the base to absorb shock during impact and
the materials used can be proven in Appendix E.
3.6 Experience
Contractors from Crimson Enterprise states that they have experiences in
constructing and building stuff during foundation, and have the knowledge in
drafting program. Some of them even involved themselves as a plumber helper.
However, all of these do not have any evidences. Therefore, there is no mark to
be given in this criteria which is 0/4.
Boost

every meetings, according to the evidence provided in minutes of meetings in
Appendix A. The contractors from Phantom Enterprise have ensured to informed
company Boosts designers if there are any changed to the meetings within hours,
which the chats and dialogues can be found in Appendix C. Not only that, a
complete record of the Weekly Progress Report (WPR) has been attached as an
evidence of Phantom Enterprises professionalism in meeting all the deadlines
that has been fixed for them. This can be referred in Weekly Progress Report in
Appendix B. Phantom Enterprise is awarded 4/4 as all of the criteria are proven
by evidences.
Boost

The first alternation given was the use of hot glue gun as supposed to using
superglue, as stated in the Design Package of company Boost. Next, the use of a
strong material than polystyrene for the wheels, a strong material was
suggested to prevent the wheels from rupturing during the impact from the one
meter vertical drop. Lastly, the use of velcro tape is suggested to prevent the
600ml water bottle from falling off.
4.6 Experiences
Contractors from Phantom Enterprise showed that they have the knowledge
regarding drafting software programs. Certificates of Programming C++ is
provided in Appendix D. Therefore, 4/4 marks is given in this criterion.
Boost
5.1 Professionalism
First of all, there is evidence that shows contractors from A.W.D INC are
punctual to every meetings according to the Minutes of Meetings they provided in
the Appendix A. However, they have no proof that they inform others within 12
hours if they could not make it to the meeting and the emotional control.
Therefore, 1/4 marks is given to A.W.D INC as the lack of evidences.
Boost
A.W.D INC has provided weekly progress report as a working schedule and can
be found in Appendix A. However, A.W.D INC can not reach the remaining
