    In order to best represent and showcase our athletic programs,


    we found it important to come up with some key points in
    handling a sport teams social media.
    All teams use #gohawks and tag @athens_boosters
    in every tweet, so that it creates an easily accessed
    chain
    Athletes twitter @ is included on roster sheet so that
    specific tweets can be directed towards and shared by
    players
    Tweets may include game highlights about specific
    athletes that stood out and pictures or videos (10
    seconds or less) of the athlete
    Teams are recommended to share their schedules with
    the official student section account
    (@TheHawksNest17) so that awareness and
    attendance of matches increase
    We hope this advice helps and look forward to an improved
    athletic environment for all.
