RE: Application for Becoming a Junior at GPA

Dear Mr. Bartholomew:

As a highly determined and strongly motivated student with great leadership and
communication skills, I would like to apply for the position of becoming an incoming junior at
Gompers Preparatory Academy. I believe that I am more than ready for this position. I am a 4.17
student and I am constantly on top of my work and meet any required deadlines.
Throughout the summer of 2016, I worked at an amusement park called Inflatable
World. I learned to developed better communication skills and how to control and have more
patience throughout my experience. I also learned to become more responsible by getting to
work on time which helped me with time management. This benefits me in multiple ways and
has taught me to become more dependent on myself and how to manage my time as well as how
to talk to others, and how to offer my help when needed to others. Also, I volunteered with
Campus Beautification- an organization that helps create a more pleasing environment for
schools. This taught me how to prioritize my time. I am now aware of the balance required for
future experiences in life and how it will become useful as I prepare myself for college.
Working during the summer and assisting during my winter break has helped me develop
better interpersonal skills. This experience taught me to step out of my comfort zone and conquer
my fears. It has also helped me implement dedication and determination into my life. Please
consider my expertise and skills as an 11th grade dedicated student. Once again, I would like to
