I am writing to apply for a position as a Leader for the Extended Day Program within the
Cajon Valley Union School District. I am a 2017 Graduate from Grossmont High School
in El Cajon and I am a former member of the Teaching & Learning Pathway where I
have gained experience working with kids as a Intern for a Specialized Education
Classroom during my Senior Year. The enclosed resume will show you the additional
experience I have already had working with kids of various ages throughout the years.

When it comes to working with kids, I believe that they need a responsible,
encouraging, and proactive adult whom they can trust to follow and learn from. This
adult and mentor role is something I can fulfill for not only do I enjoy working with
children, but I also enjoy being able to provide the support for children to build their
future upon. Every child just needs a supportive community to encourage and help them
achieve their dreams and reach their fullest potential. This all starts with having strong
and uplifting adults to guide them though and Im someone who is capable of providing
such support. This uplifting community can not just depend on one adult though. It
requires a team of strong, responsible, collaborative, and motivational adults to work
together to achieve a common goal which is providing a supportive community for
children to thrive upon. I am this type of team member who will do whatever it takes to
ensure the children are provided all the resources and support they need to ensure a
successful future.
