I am writing this letter of recommendation in regard to Madelaine Knutson. Madelaine has

been a student in my leadership class for the past four years. As a Junior, she served as our her
Class’ President. As a Senior, she currently is serving as our Associated Student Body Secretary.
In my time with “Maddie”, she has proven her character to be determined, responsible and
creative. She is always prepared and ready to take on the day’s tasks. Thanks to her strong
character, Maddie is a hard-working, successful, problem solver. She has been a fantastic ASB
Secretary.
Maddie’s work ethic is effective and efficient. Most importantly (in my opinion), she is
willing to ask questions when she is unsure of the requirements being asked of her. In my
experience, the humility and wisdom to ask questions is a tell-tale sign of a wise individual. She
follows through on responsibilities. Maddie is also willing to help others around her who may not
understand a particular detail or task. Her dedication to helping others is proven by the fact that she
will graduate with over 200 hours of community service.
Maddie is a hard-working, helpful, and overall excellent student. She will graduate high
school as one of her class’s Valedictorians and I have no doubt that she will continue her academic
excellence at the University level. I highly recommend Madelaine Knutson. Please feel free to
