I am writing this letter of recommendation in regard to Madison Mitchell. Madison was a

student in my U.S. History class during the 2015-2016 school year. During that time period and in
the days since, I have had a chance to witness her learning skills and work ethic. I can attest to the
fact that both are outstanding.
My confidence in Madisons abilities led me to ask if she would join our Link Leadership
team during this school year. I am very grateful that she accepted the request. She has been a
fantastic leader.
In my time with Madison, I have been most impressed with her intellect and desire to learn.
She always exhibits a desire to learn and, as a result, is a very good listener. In my opinion, these
two qualities are very important for a successful student. She is very comfortable in an academic
environment.
Madisons learning skills are accompanied and complemented by her positive work ethic.
She always completes tasks in a correct and timely fashion. She is never one to back down or
complain about a difficult or trying assignment. I have seen this in Madison as a student and also as
my classroom assistant. Whatever it may be, she is up to the task.
Madison possesses many other valuable characteristics. She is the president of the Drama
Club on campus. She is a very talented and accomplished actress.
A desire to learn new things, the ability to listen well, a positive work ethic, and
dependability are of utmost importance in a successful young scholar. Madison Mitchell possesses
each of these qualities. I highly recommend her to any school or scholarship board to which she may
apply.
