McDonald. Miss Melika began her participation with me in the beginning of her junior year of
high school. My name is Ziana Villegas, and I am an Associate Teacher at the Merced Union
High School District Child Development Center.

Melika has made such a great impact on the children here at the center. She is always entering
our classroom on time every day with a positive attitude. She takes initiative in completing any
task that is necessary without having to be directed. She is always very respectful towards all
individuals she encounters. She has continually shown her leadership and collaboration skills by
serving as a great role model to her peers as well as working effectively with others. Melika
continues to seek growth in both her knowledge and skill every day, reflecting her dedication to
positively impacting the children.

Melika’s success in academics as well as her determination and drive shown in our class has led
me to believe that without a doubt, she will make a productive addition to any team. I strongly
recommend Melika for this opportunity as I am confident she will reach any and all professional
goals with the effective skills and character she possesses.
