I am interested in the Scholar of merit position that is available at the Yosemite High Child
development center. I saw this position advertised on Monster.com and feel that I am qualified
to handle the demands of this position. I know I am the perfect person for this job.

I love working with kids. I grew up being around kids from different age groups and I enjoyed it
alot. But what really pushed my interest with kids is when my niece was born. This was during
the quarantine period back in 2020 and having that bond with a child, watching her come into
the world as an infant and progress into a toddler is just an amazing experience. Last year in
2023, I took the Careers with infants and toddlers class at Yosemite High with Mrs Sanchez and
I have to say that, that was a great experience and I feel like since I know what to expect and
the skills to bring to the table. I am very responsible and careful with children in my care.
