I am interested in applying for a substitute job for the Merced County Office of Education.

I am currently a senior at Merced High School and will graduate on June 6, 2019. I have tried
my best to be involved within my school and community since I started in middle school and
have learned a lot of leadership skills and lessons for any future job I hope to obtain. I have
been a part of the Merced Youth Council for about two years now and am currently chairman of
this organization. I have gained many leadership experiences which include, speaking in front of
large audiences, communicating with the youth of Merced, leading meetings and much more. I
am apart of many other clubs and organizations that have just added to my experience in
interacting with others.

I have heard great things about the Merced County Office of Education and would love to be
