Dear whomever this may concern:
Ever since I worked in summer programs during high school, I have always been passionate
about working with children. When I started college at Arizona State University, I came to the
conclusion that I wanted to pursue a career that enhanced the lives of young children. After
interning at the Boys and Girls Club-Ladmo Branch here in Tempe, AZ. I knew that I had made the
right decision for my future career. With this job application, Head Start, I will be able to start my
education career early on before graduating from Arizona State University class of 2017.
Becoming a teacher, I would be able to educate children at a young age and will maybe one day
make an impact on their lives. As a teacher, there will be many barriers but I will work my
hardest to overcome such things. With this job opportunity, I will be able to enhance young
childrens lives while they are at a young age. Educating children will help generate future
leaders so that they will be able to do what they want in life. Teachers play a critical role in
todays society because they help shape the minds of young individuals. As a teacher, education
is what will help individuals get to where they want to.
Once I will have graduated from Arizona State University I will have received the following:
Bachelors in Early Childhood and Special Education.
Many hours of community service that will have been devoted to working with children
from the Boys and Girls Club.
I will have also been in the program of iTeachAZ that was serviced by ASU and local
elementary schools.
Although I have not graduated from Arizona State University, I am eager to gain much
experience in a head start facility. Gaining experience will benefit me and the company in many
ways. As a future educator, I will have to have experience that will enable myself to help
students in the best way possible. I would be delighted to interview for this position for a
