To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter of recommendation on behalf of Ms. Madison Bartlett as it is my understanding

that Ms. Bartlett is applying to your district as a licensed teacher. I have known Madison for the past two
years as a student in the Winona State University (WSU) - Rochester Cohort. Specifically, I facilitated
several courses in Madison’s educational experience at WSU.

Madison is an extremely proactive and responsible student that adheres to timelines very well. Her
quality of work is exemplary, and she demonstrates excellent creative skills. Ms. Bartlett has always
demonstrated high qualities of an ethical and professional new teacher. In every interaction that I
experienced with Madison, she provided professionalism and a response that centered on the well-
being of students. She would be an asset to your district. Today’s schools need student centered
teachers that will encompass not only rich and rigorous academic learning opportunities, but social and
emotional experiences that will equip students to be successful in society. Madison is poised for this
challenge as well as the many other demands required of a successful teacher.

Madison carries herself with a passionate demeanor that is infectious. She has a solution-oriented mind-
set that will propel her far in the education profession and the rigors for instructing diverse children at
deep levels. Her ability to plan and deliver engaging instructional lessons; is impressive. I foresee her
providing this level of thought and effort collaboratively with a grade level team on an ongoing basis.

It is without reservation that I recommend Ms. Madison Bartlett as a teacher within your district. She
will undoubtedly be an asset to the profession of education, the school that she serves at, and the
individual children that she positively impacts.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at the number listed below, should you have any questions or

Sincerely,

Dr. Bryan Matera
