To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Ms. Lindsey Kukulski. Lindsey is a student at the
University of Massachusetts Global (formerly Brandman University) and is currently enrolled in my CSPU 620:
School Counseling Fieldwork 1 class this Fall 2021. Lindsey has submitted all necessary paperwork and
requirements to participate in this class. All U Mass Global students are required to complete fieldwork hours
to receive their Pupil Personnel Services Credential. The fieldwork courses provide a transitional school
counseling experience by engaging the candidate in a practical and realistic work schedule in schools. It is
understood that the candidate will achieve a level of competence commensurate with a Master’s level degree.
Emphasis is on supervised fieldwork experiences leading to competencies in the following areas: educational
assessment, personal and social counseling, academic and career counseling, program development, program
coordination, supervision, consultation, and laws and ethics pertinent to the profession of school counseling.

Lindsey currently works as an Accessioning Verification Representative with Ambry Genetics, a high-volume
genetic testing facility serving a variety of clients in the medical field. Prior to her current role, she worked at
Saddleback College as a substitute administrative assistant and studio manager at Laguna Dance Theater. Even
though I’ve only known Lindsey for a short period, I have observed that she is able to quickly build rapport with
her students and gain respect from her colleagues and supervisors, which is a critical attribute in K12
education. Above all else, I admire Lindsey’s passion for helping ALL students reach their academic potential
while fostering and understanding the importance of students’ social-emotional and career development.

If you need any additional information or have any concerns regarding this placement or with Lindsey, please
feel free to email me at mchannau@mail.umassglobal.edu or call me on my cell phone at (626) 548-9644.

Sincerely,

Melissa Chan-Nauli, Ed. D.
