Program development and My responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
management  delivering the state standards, following my curriculum guide, providing a safe learning
environment for my students, assessing students, adapting my curriculum based on my
student’s needs, cleaning desks to ensure a clean work environment, preparing lessons and

leadership with parents, working with my grade level teams not just building wise but district-wide. I also
prepare materials for my students if they are absent or if they need to Zoom from home.
Strong assessment skills  I make sure my students get to where they need to be during the day as well as after school. I
communicate with grade levels above and below to make sure my concerns and successes are
Intervention planning similar to what they saw especially if the MTSS process is needed.
 I also participate in various trainings throughout the school year and sometimes outside of
Organized school so I can be the best teacher I can be.
 At the kindergarten level, I also think my job is to prepare parents for what education is now
and how the school runs. This includes explaining the grading system, logging in to our
Trustworthy
PowerSchool program, and expectations for lunch, conferences, parties, and bus expectations.
I also need to have those hard conversations with parents about their child about their child
Excellent communicator success and struggles. Sometimes those struggles are more than the child can do so we have
the conversation about retention. I help guide my students, but I also make sure the parents are
Compassionate supported as well.
