To whom it may concern,
Please accept this letter expressing my interest in seeking employment as a new
teacher in your school district. I am a Physical Education Major at Dakota State
University with minors in Mathematics and Educational Technology. I think my
background and experiences in education will make me a valuable member of
your team.
During my four years of college, I have experienced the world of education in
many different avenues. One of my recent experiences in the field of education
has been tutoring high schoolers in Geometry and Algebra II. Additionally, I have
been a substitute teacher for Madison Public Schools at both the elementary
school and the middle school. I worked as a camp counselor for a summer in an
informal education setting and have volunteered as a middle school softball coach
as well.
My supervisors and colleagues recognize that through all these avenues of
education I have been able to touch many young people’s hearts and minds.
Constructing the next generation’s academic success, social advancement, and
physical well-being is my ultimate goal. My organization, resourcefulness, and
compassion will aid me in influencing the next generation and spurring their
minds onto greatness.
