My Hero Logo

LOGOS:
How do you know a Hero? For sure its because they are out in the world doing
good. But what if you catch them at the supermarket? Is it their snazzy tights?
Their cool boots?
Or could it be by the chest logo peeking out from under their mild-mannered
button-up shirt? Super Dog? The El Dog Family? Who knows?
Hero logos are a shortcut for the heros secret identity. Lets discover our own secret identities.
DESIGN YOUR LOGO:
Who are you? You are your own unique Hero. Your design must be unique. Do you want to reflect some im-
portant part of who you are in your logo? Maybe you want to declare allegiance to a hero you love by using
the same colors or shapes in your design.

BACKGROUND SHAPE:
Teachers will provide sheets with logo backgrounds to start: Heres a selection of
shapes that you will have to choose from! Scan the QR code to download the
sheets:

SYMBOLS:
Symbols are shapes or figures that represent something. Your Hero design can represent something you are
by using symbols inside, outside or around your background shape. Use symbols that are school friendly. Do
you love cats? Perhaps your shape could have kitty ears. Do you have an alter ego? Use those initials as sym-
bols.
COLORS:
Use colors that mean something to you, but make sure that the colors dont
clash. Use the color wheel to choose colors that dont clash! The QR code links to a
handy-dandy primer by Colour Lovers on Super Hero Color Pallets.

SHARE IT!
Once your classroom Hero Logos are designed with symbols and col-
ors, submit them to your museum for their Hero Logo Gallery! Each classroom that
submits Hero Logo photos to their museum will receive a classroom packet of dis-
count coupons for students families to return to the gallery. Use the QR code below
to download your photos!
