WORK TEST:

2D GAME ARTIST

Hello there.

We would like to assess if your style and personality is a match with ours and since we
are in the business of creating games, what better way to do this than to have you deliver
one aspect of a game.

Our games are video slot machines, and there are SYMBOLS (icons) representing winning
combinations. Your test work is simply to prepare one such symbol.

We will need you to:

• Show us the process on how you came up with the finished piece by sending
black and white sketch or sketches depicting the symbol, and how you use the
space and dynamic to create the symbol.
o Sketches can be sent as 1200*1200 pixel JPG (72dpi) (please also attach
a 196*196 version of same symbol to see it in its native size, to determine
whether small parts are clear or not)
• Send us one (1) fully finished high quality colored version of the symbol with a
frame that you think works.
o 1200*1200 pixel JPG (72 dpi) (please also attach a 196*196 version of
same symbol)

As for the setting, we’ll go with a western theme.

• Your test symbol is a cowboy, a rider.
o Symbol should depict a cowboy riding a horse. The horse can run, or rear
with its rider. Make sure it looks epic and dynamic. We want to see what
you come up with without any art direction and how you solve mass and
center, and dynamic poses, colors etc.
o Key aspects of your work (frame, clothes, hair, etc.) must be related to
the western theme.
o Must include a clear, readable “WILD” text below the cowboy and horse.
• It is important that the symbol you create fits the theme, remains distinct,
versatile and memorable. We want to see what you come up with without any
art direction and how you solve mass and center, and dynamic poses, colors
etc.
• Symbols need to be clear so that you can even see them clearly on a small
mobile phone screen
• Think ICONic.
• Remember to send us the finished symbol as well as the sketches.

This is not required but is a BIG plus if you could showcase your UI design skills.
• Send us one (1) fully finished high quality Big Win panel with a continue button
at the bottom. It should fit the western theme well.
o 1200*1200 pixel JPG (72 dpi)
o Text: “BIG WIN! YOU WON $400!”
o Make it rewarding. Use effects to make it awe-inspiring!
o Include the “Continue” button at the bottom.

We will look closely on the details, your understanding of the symbol, its dynamic feel,
and casino “bling”.

You will be given one (1) week to complete this test.
