Project Manager
Location: Houston
Reports To: Landev President
Years of Experience Required: Minimum 10 years
Landev Engineers is seeking a talented, team-focused Senior Project Manager with a minimum
of ten years residential land development experience in the Houston MSA to join our team in
Houston. Your technical knowledge, relationships, and team-focused approach will enhance our
mission to listen and respond to our clients needs while earning their trust with quality engineering
solutions.
Position Overview:
The Sr. Project Manager has responsibility and accountability for preparation and coordination of
all technical and contractual activities for single family and mixed use land development projects.
This candidate is expected to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering
technical projects while monitoring work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted
engineering practices and standards. Responsibilities include maintaining effective
communication and coordination on projects between the client, regulating agencies and all other
project participants. Business development duties will require developing relationships with
current and prospective clients while soliciting project opportunities. The successful candidate
will:
Represent the company in professional, civic, and political activities and organizations
Lead business development efforts in the Central Texas geographical area for the
company
Develop relationships with current and prospective clients
Prepare project schedules and forecasts
Oversee preparation of plans and reports for project design elements including grading,
drainage, utilities, roadways
Coordinate checking of engineering deliverables (QA&QC)
Essential Functions:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical aspects
of projects
Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects
Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals
Budget monitoring and trend tracking
Participate in Client/Contractor meetings and resolve technical project issues
Ensure effective engineering and Client communications
Possess innovative solutions encompassing new technology to exceed our clients needs
