Forum
The Youth Advisory Council Youth Homelessness Community Forum will be held on
Tuesday 27 July 2010, at the Civic Library from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. The forum will focus
on youth homelessness issues in the ACT. The Youth Advisory Council invites young
people, the community, and those who work with young people to attend the forum. The
forum will include guest speakers and provide an opportunity for participants to share
their views on this important issue.

Youth Advisory Council Community Open Meeting


The Youth Advisory Council invites members of the community to attend an Open
Meeting to be held on Tuesday 3 August 2010 at Canberra College, Launceston Street
Phillip, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. The Open Meeting is an opportunity for young people to
provide their thoughts, ideas and concerns on any issues they are experiencing and find
out more about the Youth Advisory Council’s role and responsibilities.

Gungahlin College office: open for business


Gungahlin College, opening in 2011, now has an office in the Gungahlin Town Centre.
Principal Gai Beecher invites prospective students and their parents, and community
members to meet with her and staff to discuss enrolment and the exciting student and
community options the new college will offer.

completed ready for the start of 2011
