Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu | Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Meals:No Meals

Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport, where a Yatra representative will assist you towards the
designated hotel. Check-in and relax for sometime.

Kathmandu is counted amongst the most frequented tourist destinations of Nepal, of which it also
serves as the administrative capital. Visiting this beautiful city will let you explore its rich culture and
splendid heritage. Encompassing various monasteries, temples and historic buildings, this city has a
unique charm of its own.

After relaxing at the hotel for sometime, leave for the city tour. Give a divine start to the day by paying a
visit to the beautiful Pashupatinath Temple. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is recognised as an
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built around AD 400, the temple is a fine example of the exquisite
pagoda-style architecture. Next to this temple flows the beautiful River Bagmati, which is considered
holy by followers of both Hinduism and Buddhism.

Spend a peaceful night at the hotel, before leaving for Chitwan on the next day.

Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan (180 km/5 hours approx.)

Meals:Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Soon after breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for Chitwan - the place blessed with nature's
bounty.

Boasting of priceless flora and fauna, this is an ideal retreat for nature and wildlife lovers. Chitwan
National park, spread over a large area, was notified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Pristine
lakes, meandering rivers, verdant meadows and dense forests add to the picturesque charm of this
wildlife haven. This park has an Elephant Breeding Centre and Gharial Crocodile Farm, which are worth
a visit. Several endangered animals and avian species can be seen roaming freely in this park, which is
their natural and conserved habitat.

Stay overnight at the hotel and rejuvenate yourself for the following day, which is full of interesting
explorations in the wild.

Day 3 Visit to the Chitwan National Park

Meals:Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After a hearty morning meal, head to the Chitwan National Park for a day full of fun and adventure. Take
an Elephant Safari, which is perhaps the best way to explore the wildlife of this park.

Other than elephant rides, numerous other activities like canoe rides and dugout canoe are organised
within this park. This place is a paradise for ornithologists and birdwatchers as it has more than 500
recorded species of birds.

Those interested in folk arts can enjoy colourful performances by the Terais that inhabit the region.

Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.

way. Flanked by lofty hills from all sides, this is an ideal place for a blissful vacation in the lap of nature.
Lush green surroundings, serene environment and snowy peaks in the backdrop give this town a special
sobriquet - the jewel in the Himalaya.

Upon arrival at Pokhara, check-in at the hotel and rejuvenate yourself with a good night's sleep.

Day 5 Sightseeing in Pokhara

Meals:Breakfast

Post breakfast, gear up for touring this beautiful destination. Commence the excursion by visiting
Sarangkot, which is perched atop a hillock that overlooks Lake Phewa. The hamlet offers mesmerising
vistas of the sunrise and sunset in high Himalayan pinnacles, which make it a popular vantage point.

In the afternoon, pay a visit to the renowned and ancient Bindabasini Temple, which used to be an
integral part of the Kaski kingdom. Main deity worshipped in this temple is Goddess Durga - the revered
manifestation of Hindu Devi. A view of the Himalayas from this temple is simply awe-inspiring. The
temple has an old bazaar in its proximity, where local souvenirs can be purchased.

Afterwards, pay a visit to the Devi's Fall, which is popularly known as Patale Chhango or Nether Fall and
is flocked by several tourists. Opposite to it lies the famous Gupteswar Cave, which houses a pious
Shivalinga inside it. Different natural forms made of limestone add to the significance of this cave.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Meals:Breakfast

After breakfast, take a drive to Kathmandu, which awaits some more surprises. Spend the day resting at
the hotel room or go for exploring the nearby areas and local markets.

Stay overnight at the hotel and have some rest as the next day is full of engaging activities.

Day 7 Sightseeing in Kathmandu | Depart from Kathmandu

Meals:Breakfast

Soon after breakfast, leave for the city of Patan, which is also referred to as Lalitpur. A display of great
architecture can be seen in every nook and corner of this city. Patan Durbar Square, an UNESCO World
Heritage Site, is dotted with several temples, palaces and sprawling courtyards that make it an
architectural marvel.

Next place to visit is the Tibetan Refugee Camp, which is inhabited by a huge Tibetan population that
migrated to the region decades ago. This camp has a local market of handwoven woollen carpets and
handicrafts, which are specialities of the place. This is the right place to find exclusive souvenirs for
family and friends.

The last attraction to visit is Swayambhunath, which is perched on a hilltop. This religious complex
houses a magnificent stupa and several temples, which are exemplary of architectural and artistic
brilliance.

Later on, get transferred to the airport and board a flight back home with unforgettable memories of the
