Itinerary
Day 1 Guwahati,Bhalukpong
GUWAHATI-BHALUKPONG (190KMS/5 HRS APPROX)
After arrival at Guwahati airport our driver will receive you then proceed for Bhalukpong.
Bhalukpong is widely popular as nature’s paradise. It is a situated in West Kameng District in the
state of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Fish angling and river rafting are the principal tourist activities
in Bhalukpung.. After sightseeing return to the hotel. Overnight at Bhalukpong. .
Day 2 Dirang,Tawang,Bomdila
BHALUKPONG – DIRANG (160 KMS/ 5 HRS APPROX
After breakfast visit to the Tipi Orchidariurm in Bhalukpung and continue drive to Dirang. Snow-
clad Himalayan ranges, a rustic charm and spirituality filled in the air; all these ingredients make
Dirang a perfect hideout to spend some tranquil holidays in the lap of Mother Nature. The little
village lies hidden in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh and stands as a gateway to
the state’s much celebrated tourist destination, Tawang. After reaching Dirang visit Dirang Fort.
Dirang Fort.Dirang Dzong or Dirang fort was built in the 17th century to protect Bomdila from the
neighbouring states. In fact during the infamous Vietnam War, the fort was used as a jail and in
world war period, this fort was used as a shelter. Later drive back to hotel for overnight stay. .
Day 3 Tawang
DIRANG- TAWANG (150 KMS/5 HRS APPROX):
After breakfast drive to Tawang. En-route witness the snow capped Sella Pass at 14000 ft and
the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee
(Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese
during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place.Tawang is situated at an
altitude of 3500m. The natural beauty and solitude of Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi ranges,
Tawangchu River and Tawang Valley are mesmerizing. The inhabitants of the districts are all of
Monpa tribes except Shyo village which is dominated by people of Tibetan Origin. Later drive
back to hotel for overnight stay. .
Day 4 Tawang
TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast at the hotel proceed for sightseeing of 400 years (17th century) old Tawang
Monastery which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The
building is about 113 feet long and 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and
manuscripts-handwritten and printed. Later visit Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-

hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-
Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the
Tawang-Chu valley. Later return back to Hotel for overnight stay. .
Day 5 Bomdila
TAWANG – BOMDILA (160 KMS/ 4HRS APPROX)
After breakfast drive towards Bomdila. After reaching Bomdila visit Bomdila Monastry. Also
known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Lling monastery, Bombdila monastery was built in 1965 by the
twelfth incarnation of the Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. And was rebuilt by the thirteenth
reincarnation, TsonaGontseRinponche renovated the monastery by building a larger prayer hall.
Inside the Gompa, there's a huge prayer, which is used by the lamas for praying; the temple of
Buddha, and a tiny quarter of monks. Apart from its religious significance, the monastery is also
known for its natural beauty. Stunning vistas that you can see from here are fabulous and
breathtaking. Also visit to Apple and Kiwi Garden. Later drive back to hotel for overnight stay. .
Day 6 Guwahati
BOMDILA- GUWAHATI ( 230 KMS/8 HRS APPROX)
After breakfast drive to Guwahati. Overnight at Hotel. .
Day 7
HALF DAY GUWAHATI CITY TOUR & DEPURTURE
Early morning visit Kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple. Later drive to airport for onward
connection. .
