Artifact Description: Classroom: Dream Home

What you learned: I learned I want a really big house, but most of all a really big room and closet. I
gave myself many rooms so that I could have family over often. I incorporated a lot of what I grew up with;
most designs from friends houses. I learned spatial awareness and efficiency.

National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS)T Addressed:

I think that this could cover two standards:#2 Design and develop digital age learning experiences and
assessment, and #5 Engaging in professional growth and leadership
Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I think that this would be a good project for student. I think
that I could expand on the project by having them make a designer presentation, a cost presentation, and
a life plan. I would think that the cost of a house that they make would also be included in the cost
presentation. There are many ways to take this project in a curriculum point of view. The hardest part for
me was to create walls and doors. Also, filling space was not easy.
