K, K, K." with the caption "Stone Mountain. . Near Atlanta, Georgia, Owned Published and Operated by the National Knights of the K. K, K., Inc., Box 111 Stone Mountain, Georgia. The aforementioned newspaper indicated that it was Volume LXVIII, No. 1, yearly subscription of $3 and subscription for two years was $5, individual price, $.25. The above newspaper also reflected that it was published by Tom Obrien. Tae first article in the above raper was one letter by James R. Venable, Imperial Wizard of the National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Association of America, Post Office Box 107, Tucker, Georgia, 30083 and was a one and one-half page effort by Venable in expressing his views on the present conditions in the United States as he saw them both political and sociological. Also appearing in the newspaper was a short article by Barry Goldwater with a photograph of Mr. Goldwater and was a critical analysis of Robert McNamara as Secretary of Defense. ‘The paper contained a column-length poem by the Honorable Oliver Allstorn entitled "The Saddest Story Ever Told", and above the poem was a photograph of a white girl and Negro male embracing in what appeared to be a picnic scene. Imperial Nighthawk Newspaper National Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Numerous articles appeared throughout the eight-page newspaper, critical of the United Nations. One article was captioned, "The United Nations is Treason". Under a caption "The Nighthawk Says" the following purposes for the publication of the Imperial Nighthawk by the National Association of Klans were set forth, and they are as follows: 1, To expose a11 Communists activities and organizations. 2. To expose the Anti-Christ and their Satanical plans for destruction of the White Race. 3. To restore prayer to the schools. 4. To expose and destroy the careers of all politicians who wilfully or through ignorance or brainwashing, support the Atheistic-Jewish- Communist Conspiracy. 6. To expose School Integrations, Open Housing, Mixed Nerriages for what it really is, part of the Conny plan to destroy the White Race by down breeding. 6. To get the United States out of the United Nations, and ramove the whole operation to Israel where it belongs. 7. To elect politicians pledged to destroy the Great Society and all its Socialist prograns. 8.
