NOTEBOOK)

1. MAKE TWO GROUPS.

2. READ THE SITUATION GIVEN AND THE CHARACTERISTICS OF EACH CHARACTER.
3. CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER ACCORDING TO THE LIST THAT IT IS PRESENTED
HERE.
4. PUBLISH IN THE GROUP OF WORK (FACEBOOK) THE INTEGRANTS OF THE GROUP
AND THE CHARACTER EACH ONE CHOSE
5. IN THE CLASS , (WHICH THE TEACHER HAS PROGRAMMED) YOU WILL HAVE THE
HOURS WITH YOUR GROUP FOR PREPARING THE ROLE PLAY (Please bring all
what you are gonna need: materials, dictionaries, etc)
6. YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CREATIVE ROLE PLAY ( a reality show, a trial, etc) WHERE
YOU ARE GOING TO SHOW THE SITUATION AND YOU HAVE TO CONVINCE
ANYBODY OF SAVING YOU FROM THE SINKING SHIP AND GIVE ARGUMENTS FOR
NOT SAVING THE REST OF THE GROUP. FOR THAT USE CONDITIONALS
SENTENCES If you save me, I will help sick people in the island, If you saved
the priest, a lot of children would be in danger etc etc.
7. ALL THIS INFORMATION ( Characters: Students names, Play Script) MUST BE IN
EACH NOTEBOOK.

Sinking Ship

You and your partner(s) were on a cruise ship which has exploded
and is sinking fast. Theres only one lifeboat and it can only take 11
people (and nothing else). Theres a deserted island about 10 km
away, but you dont know how long youll have to wait for help to
come and rescue you (if it does!). Someone has told you that the
island is very rough but it has animals to hunt and fruit to pick. It
also has fresh water. Here are the survivors, choose wisely and
remember to make a note of the good/bad points:1

Hillary is going blind and has only 50% vision.
Santos cant understand or speak English. He only speaks
Romanian.
Father Tom has been accused of physically abusing more than
20 children.
Peter is taking hormones to become a woman.
Chris refuses to leave without her cat. She speaks fluent
Romanian.
Bob doesnt believe that David is his child but he loves Alyana
passionately so accepts the situation.
Pamela is madly in love with Jackson and refuses to leave
without him. However, he cant stand her and refuses to go with
her!
David has a terminal disease and has 1 year to live.
Peter has just been released from a Juvenile Detention Facility.
He did 5 years for rape.
Alyana is in love with another man and wants to divorce Bob as
soon as they get home.
Melanie is an arsonist.
Star took a course in first aid and is very good in stressful
situations.
Brandy is a drug addict.
Will is being accused of more than 50 counts of negligence. Half
of them are true.
Angel is taking steroids.
Serena is giving the baby up for adoption.
Kai has a problem with authority and is very violent.
Nicholas cheated his way through his medical course and has
only recently started to learn what hes doing!
