DESIGN INFORMATION

1. INTRODUCTION

This submission focuses on the calculation for the proposed FCC and Guardhouse Building at 3 Joo Koon
Circle.

2. DESIGN INFORMATION AND CRITERIA

2.1 Scope of Analysis

Using code-prescribed load combinations, the structure were analyzed and checked using Staad Pro V8i
Software. Staad Pro (Structural Analysis and Design for Professionals) is a finite element software
developed by Bentley. The program is capable of analysing advance structures and does so by calculation
deformations as well as internal forces and stresses.

2.2 Result of Analysis

This calculation by the Professional Engineer indicated that the design of the structure is adequate and
sound.

2.3 Code of Practice

The structures are designed in accordance to the following Codes, Standards and technical literatures:

EN 1991 Eurocode 1 Action on Structures

EN 1992 Eurocode 2 Design of Concrete Structures
EN 1993 Euroode 3 Design of Steel Structures

2.4 Software
