A St. Bernard is a very large dog, and can seem scary. You can imagine that this person could
have been frightened by the dog and want to get away, or escape from where it was. He probably
ran, or walked quickly, in order to get away fast.

My dad has been really stressed at work recently, so our family decided to get away and go
on a vacation to the Bahamas.

just the two of them.

without even being noticed.

was Kalebs fault.

Most likely, these people are outside, either in a park or otherwise. They can tell that a storm is
coming and do not want to be caught outside when it is lightening. They decide they need to
escape, or get out before the storm comes.

Ive been doing work in the house all day and feel like I need to get out and get some fresh
air.

If you stay inside all day, you will likely feel trapped or a bit claustrophobic. This person wants

day. To get out and get some fresh air means to be outside and have a change of scenery.

job.

soon.

In order to keep a laptop charged and powered up, you have to have a battery. If the battery is
left at home, you may only have a little bit of time before the power runs out. This laptops
power will go out, or turn off, very soon.

It was Friday night and the girls were getting ready to go out with the new boys that they
met at school that week.

to go hang out somewhere that will be good for talking and having a good time. These girls are
